INVOCATION TO THE NINE CHOIRS OF ANGELS

ARDENT SERAPHIM, you who, placed in the eternal focus of love, continually plunge your eyes in the rays of the Sun of Justice, light in our hearts, by the virtue of the Divine Blood, the sacred fire of which you are consumed.

VERY BRIGHT CHERUBIM, you who are admitted into the secrets of God, dispel the darkness of our souls and, by the virtue of the Divine Blood, make this supernatural light shine before our eyes, which makes us understand the truths of salvation.

SUBLIME AND BEAUTIFUL THRONES, on whom rests the Almighty, and who intimate His commands to the inferior Angels, obtain us, by the virtue of the Divine Blood, peace with God, with the neighbor and with ourselves.

SUPREME DOMINIONS, you who have authority over all the angelic choirs charged with executing the orders of God, reign over our minds and over our hearts, and, by the virtue of the Divine Blood, help us to know and faithfully accomplish the will of God.

POWERS INVINCIBLE, you who have for mission to remove the obstacles and the enemies who oppose the exercise of the divine wills, defend us against the attacks of the demon, the world and the flesh, and by the virtue of the Divine Blood, make us victorious in our struggles against this triple power.

CELESTIAL VIRTUES, who watch over the harmony of material creation, you whose name signifies strength, have pity on our weakness and obtain us, by the virtue of the Divine Blood, that we suffer with patience all the evils of this life.

SOVEREIGN PRINCIPALITIES, you who are princes of the nations, we conjure you to watch over our country in an efficient way, so that it may realize the designs of God on it. Rule also our souls and our bodies and, by the virtue of the Divine Blood, deign to make us reach our eternal destinies.

VERY NOBLE ARCHANGELS, you who, under the command of Saint Michael, guard and protect the Holy Church, deign to deliver it from its internal and external enemies. Watch also over the common Father of the faithful, as well as over all the children of this immaculate Bride of Christ ; and, by the virtue of the Divine Blood, make us live and die in his Faith, Hope, and Charity, so that we may be eternally united to His Divine Leader, Jesus Christ Our Lord.

VERY HOLY ANGELS, you that the zeal of the interests of God carries you faster than lightning wherever they are to be safeguarded, protect his cause in our souls, and, by the virtue of the Divine Blood, obtain us the grace of the final perseverance. So be it.
